call a local feed store and ask them how much 50 pound bags of pig and sow are, you will need about 7-800 pounds of feed to bring them up to 250-275 pounds. I would recommend giving them medicated piglet feed for the first couple bags to keep pneumonia in check, we almost lost one of our first piglets several years ago to it, giving them penicillin shots was not fun
I came across this barrel waterer that would be pretty cheap to make

That looks like an easy setup. People are trying to scare me away from pigs out here -- the amount of feed, how long it would take them to turn over our land into good soil (~5 years) etc. I think I am getting the wrong advice -- because I would only have them for a few months before butchering.

That garden was ridiculously expensive. Like ~$800. Hidden in those costs are the raised beds, mulch, etc. but it would be cost prohibitive to do in a larger setting.
I don't really plan to grow anything in the areas the pigs are knocking down -- more clear it for more open space for future animal pens. The areas I want them to clear are on the edges of our field and get shaded at various parts of the day.
