That thing is huge, I like the rustic look.

Have any local electric supply companies? Ours gives them away. We use them for our turkeys to roost.

My neighbor at the farm works for the biggest Electric Contractor in the area...he says they pay a deposit on them or sometimes reuse them.  

I do keep my eyes open though.

we can get pallets, cable drums, scrap metal from junkyard, etc for free, seems people have to pay for those in a lot of places

pallets are easy here...scrap metal gets snatched up pretty quickly...a lot of 'scrappers' and some are pretty bold.
