This gives me some ideas!
We have an old garage that is too small for a vehicle and sits right in front of my garden beds, behind the house. I'd really like to tear it out completely and put a new garage elsewhere on our lot. That's not going to happen any time soon. In the meantime, I'd like to make it into a workshop.
The garage has a dirt floor, and I'm afraid if I have a cement floor poured it may shift the foundation and bring it all crashing down (it leans a couple of inches to the south). Garden tiles would work as a floor in the garage as well as outside. An attached veranda would make a nice garden sitting area with a...wait for it...outdoor cooking area complete with MEN brick oven!
I have to admit, a bed for midday naps may be the best feature of this whole project!
