I used to build furniture in college -- I wonder about moisture concerns? The wood will expand and contract and separate from the concrete, but maybe it won't happen for a long time and will be limited because the 2 wooded table top pieces are mounted to a frame.

I wonder if putting a small piece of sill seal between the wood and cement would be a good thing
