Hey everybody, been away for a while. I missed you all 🙂
So I got a 3d printer for Christmas and I've been printing a lot of stuff since. Mostly fun stuff like little toys and such but recently I've started learning about the community of people who are making actual useful stuff with them. So far I've made a toothpaste squeezer and some door hooks. I've got a light switch key rack / wallet holder and a wall holder for my girlfriend's hair dryer on the plate right now. I'm starting to see the usefulness of being able to print a part on the fly, especially if you're homesteading. Sometimes you need a thing right now and can't wait a week to get your specialty bit from China or whatever. Not to mention you can make things that would normally cost you 30 bucks for like 30 cents lol! Ok that might be a bit of an exaggeration in most cases but still, most prints I've made haven't cost me more than maybe 3 or 4 dollars tops.
If anyone is interested in printing stuff I'd be happy to talk to you about it some!
