i guess i don't know how to post a vid here. i'm harvesting some bamboo right now and have been looking for building projects, tree houses, aqueducts etc to use up my native bamboo. i've also got plenty of dirt that has been depleted from decades worth of rice production which i intend to dig and stack and shape for my golf course and bungalows or buildings. found this video and sure enough it's from just a few hours away in chiang mai and thought you guys might be interested in the combination of these two

That's pretty sweet, I think Hessian has been experimenting with bamboo down in Costa Rica as well, are you going to try something like that?

the roofing looks like artwork.

Do you have wasps, bees or hornets there?

Between spiders, wasps and flying roaches .... that roof design wouldn't work well in my area. But it sure looks great.

i'm definitely going to build with rammed earth and bamboo, not sure that my bamboo finish will be that artistic. we do have bees wasps and hornets here, as well as nearly every other poisonous, venomous and toxic creature known to man. somehow we survive haha
