Alright, finally talked my wife into the final design shown below. I'm still debating on having a glass door for the entrance or just keeping it as a shower curtain.
Next up will be the plumbing. While I agree that I should probably farm it out, I want to learn the full process so, as steep as the learning curve may be, here we go. I'll model this aspect up and get it approved by a plumber before doing anything as well. The only tricky part is that we will be including two shower heads with the option to go one, two, or both.
Also, I'll need to redeaux the blocking so that will be posted over the weekend.

It is... but only one plan has been approved to date in my county. I reviewed the plan and it's essentially a covered watering trough with a mini leach field. Probably about $100 in parts and a few hours of digging. Would I need two separate vents coming out of the roof though? I'll already need two because I'll be installing a fan.
As far as the roof plan goes, either 10" rafters so that I can get the required R-Value (30) for my local code (R-38 if my glazing is above 15%) or scissor trusses cause I want a slightly vaulted ceiling. The rest of the house only has an 8' ceiling so I don't want to throw a random change in, but at my height I prefer a 9' ceiling; therefore, a slight vault (2/12) should be nice but subtle.

Makes sense. I will still have to model it but came across these two designs. Unless my greywater system is formally approved, I will have to devise something that enables me to engage it at a later date... such as this diverter valve:
I'll still need to check required dimensions per local code but shouldn't be too tough. I liked the dual clean out as well (just from past plumbing issues).
The second one below struck me as a neat idea for anyone working in a truly water scarce area:

That's a good question. Either leave out one of the cinder blocks in the side or build an access point under the sink. I'm just unsure of how I would explain it to the inspection guy other than "it's a diverter valve for a 'future' grey water system." And then just finish it out some other time.
