I so wanted to do ICF's but couldn't justify the price, maybe the next project

This is a bit long.  But I love it.  This guy does a nice job and has a great building.  I would love to do the double wall like this..but the cost and labor?  I might run the numbers.

I got a buddy thats a contractor. He did his basement (it's on a hill) with those and he swears by them. Told me he'd still be building if he had to lay all that block himself.

Yeah, I have a friend that used them on his house and garage, I priced them out when we were going to build and I believe the forms were just under 7000, this was 7 years ago though, wonder if the prices have come down

...Regarding the ICF's...I know they go up quick and so on...but with the insulation on the inside...that defeats the thermal mass and it's ability to radiate heat back in...not sure I see an advantage to the insulation on both sides (in and out) ...tight house for sure...what is your thought?
