Kudos to the artist. That's gotta be a labor of love and a quick learning curve. I do love the fireplace in the first video though, just enough quirk to intrigue me to try it.

Haha very true. Since that I've been looking for ways to work with concrete and one thing I love doing with materials is making them seem counter-intuitive like bending concrete or cantilevering it.

Came across this guy's youtube a few weeks back. Looks like the form would be the most difficult part but you could make it out of urethane:

Or you could get creative like these guys who use a fiberglass roof panel:
