Moro and I were talking on chat the other night and were discussing greenhouses, I was thinking of building a moveable one and was leaning towards that. I sat down with a pen and paper today and was sketching it out but the one thing that kept bothering me was the fact I had to stash it somewhere when not using it.

So I decided to design and build a take down greenhouse

To be continued

Just use a temporary carport and put some transparent tarp on it.

no design needed.

so the next day spring was here again

8570606760_2535c2615e_z.jpg

so like all my projects I went and picked up some wood

8569510905_638c4afc0a_z.jpg

and cut a bunch of 4 foot sections

8570609256_7698743961_z.jpg

and started framing out some boxes

8570609968_25a3b2ee76_z.jpg

and made 4 of them

8570610534_de747c11b6_z.jpg

I really need to do a better job of cleaning out the beds in the spring

8570611580_7741fc5d5f_z.jpg

we stood up a section and butted the edge to the outside of the raised bed and screwed it down

8569515779_d5c05c7262_z.jpg

and stood up another and screwed that down and the two together

8569516677_833f420526_z.jpg

and repeated the process on the other side

8569518071_4e99d84411_z.jpg

I cut and assembled two 4x4 sections

8570615678_ec1a6e7516_z.jpg

and screwed them down and framed out a door and screwed a support onto the fence

8570621746_9f54bc4a9b_z.jpg

I cobbled together a ridge beam

8570624052_ce79f1f9a3_z.jpg

and screwed that down to the top of the door and the support

8570624966_8894162aa4_z.jpg

I just need to put some supports for the top, wrap it in plastic and throw on a door and I'll be good to go, probably going to let the chickens run wild in it for a week or so to clear the beds for me

8569528821_a10ff85792_z.jpg

I was hoping to finish up yesterday, but winter came back, time to wait :(

8574989908_1ba4a3a547_z.jpg

with this I plan on removing the plastic in may and planting some vining veg and let them crawl up the framework for support, that way I can get dual use out of it

Nice plan, especially the dual usage idea!
