Surprised that I'm at page 55 and so far I have partied in 3 of these shacks and know the owners of 5 of the shacks from BC. The Gulf Islands (Pender, Salt Spring etc) seem to be well represented.

Some of these cabins built in the time of real men and women humping the materials to the site are impressive.

Ya, I lived in BC during the 90's and most the Gulf Islands at the time were packed full of homesteaders and younger hipsters. Lots of squatters still back then, not sure about now.

Two of the cabins are in the interior and owned by two brothers I grew up with in Ontario. They both live on Vancouver Island and built shacks to give their kids a few months of trapping and hunting a year. I have never been to their cabins but know them from pictures.
