This is on hold. The gameplan is to see how things go over the next year or two while saving for the addition. I think our first addition will be to enclose the porch and then add on a homeschooling room addition to the side of the house. We will need to do it in phases -- as our well will most likely need to be moved, the stairs need to be moved, etc.

Right. The porch is easier because it already has a floor and a roof, but my wife wants plumbing and another bathroom.

The homeschooling room will not have plumbing and minimal electrical so it will be more straight forward but more expensive due to the foundation and roof.
