Since we have moved into our new house I have great disliked how the garage was not painted and poorly organized. Now it's time to change that!

First I removed all of my tools and other supplies and dumped them in the middle of the garage.

Now with primer.

Next steps are grey paint on the bottom with a red stripe, like these pictures off of the internet.

Over the next week I will try to secure some used metal cabinetry for the walls and an extra fridge. The window and exterior doors also need trim.

Thanks K! My plan is to, at some point, stain the concrete and seal it with acrylic sealer. It seems like epoxying the floors takes some much prep, expense, etc. and usually people damage the floors or are not happy with peeling. I just want something simple.

Here are pics from painting last night.

Looks dark here...

This is closer to the real color.

If I don't need to do a second coat then I should be putting up the red stripe tonight and the vinyl floor edging. A big bummer was the paint tape is/was ripping off the primer I put on, down to the paper. It's goes to suck taking the tape off of the upper primer section.

Yeah, I always have the same issue with paint tape, easy pull away my rear end!

Interested to see how the acrylic sealer works for you, we just stained ours and have had some wearing issues, wonder if the acrylic will help it hold up better.

I have more work to do tonight and hope to have some more updates for tomorrow. I have all of the painting done and have a small 'wall' bench made and a cabinet hung up. I also got some peg board and started hanging some tools. The garage is still a mess, even after throwing away tons of stuff and I need to get it cleaned up for when the next tractor gets here... which should be Monday!

OK, I don't have any updated pictures -- I hope to get to this tonight. Instead of working on the garage I sprayed around the 320 pine tree seedlings with weed and grass killer to stop the field from overtaking the trees. Next year my plan is to spray some of this down on the ground first to stop this growth before it happens and before I plant.

Yeah, I am getting another tractor shipped up to resell. Should be here on Monday or thereabouts.
