Hi all... Our new flat construction is in progress. We have arranged a health club space there in the building. While searching for a suitable flooring material, I have found the epoxy coating on the website of Proseal Concrete Floors http://www.prosealfl.....e-coating/. Is this epoxy coating is good for the health club flooring? I have read that epoxy coatings are heat, moisture, slippery resistant material. Also, nowadays these are used in industrial floorings. So I think it would handle with sufficient weight. Still, I want to clarify it more. Please, I am looking for some apt replies.

A friend's father used it in their garage a long time ago. He had great results but went through the task of having the concrete professionally cleaned first. I believe the biggest issue stems from applying it to a dirty (oily) surface. For use in new construction it should be fine.
My buddy has an oil business and has this chemical that they put on any oil spills, let's it set for 5 minutes, scrubs it and it wipes right up. When we switched out our oil tank we spilled maybe a half a cup on the basement floor and I was amazed after he was done. I'll have to ask him what it was.
