Bought 10 acres about 2 years ago and started on this journey!  I wanted a bermed home but decided to put up a quick house to get out of the fema trailer I was living in on the land asap.  Although I saved a lot of money  it was tight in there lol.  Anyway, here are some specs and pics from the build.  

I milled the lumber that I traded for.  Saved a lot on the Cedar exterior that way.  Did 2x6 construction on the exterior walls, open cell spray foam insulation, metal roof, stained concrete floors that are scored to look like tile, used 106 year old pine lap siding in the bathroom and my sons room, cedar tounge and groove on the ceiling and accent wall and some sheet rock.  Cedar trim and an old apron front style sink.   IMG_0327.JPGIMG_0555.jpgIMG_0512.JPGIMG_1225.JPGIMG_0573.JPGIMG_0957.JPG
