Store range brass after it is cleaned and sorted?

buy bulk protein powder and refill them?

Store seed packets in them since they are dark?

Homemade laundry detergent container?

Kitchen composter?

I came across this recipe, borax and washing soda are suppose to be safe for septics I believe

Ingredients

1 bar of soap (Zote or Fels-Naptha brands, Ivory or homemade soap)

1/2 cup Borax

1/2 cup WASHING Soda (not BAKING soda!)

Water

5 gallon bucket

Instructions

Grate soap with a cheese grater

Place shreds in medium saucepan with several cups water

Heat and stir until soap pieces are dissolved

Add Borax and Washing Soda and stir until dissolved

Pour in a 5 gallon bucket, filling 3/4 full with hot water

Give it a good stir, and let sit undisturbed overnight

The finished product will be a gloppy chunky gel

I store it in bulk in a 5 gallon bucket and use a smaller container for my laundry room

Notes

To use: add 1/4-1/2 cup per load of laundry (less for cloth diapers)
