Hah... a pair of those wouldn't even put a dent in my bookshelves (which are all full); it would get a few surplus stacks off the floor.

Yep, I am just an avid book collector and reader. If it relates to politics, economics, history, homesteading, tech, or home/car repair, I usually cannot stop myself from buying it at a second hand bookshop.

My wife has banned me from bookstores 
I am of the mindset, when I buy a book, I'm keeping it, her on the other hand will trade hers in, I was hauling around boxes of readers digest condensed books that I bought at a yardsale once, I hauled them around for our first 15 years of marriage, I finally caved. I miss those books.
