Man, there is some deals to be had up there... KVR I have 2 kids, you need dishwashers in the restaurant? I figure between them and the old lady, they could make enough that I could kick back !

that would be living the dream bro! I'm not against child labor for the record :)

Jeff, if there is something you are seriously interested in let me know, I will go and take pics and vid with my go pro,and give my honest opinion, you would be far ahead of the game if you could score a ATC job in Bangor versus setting up a homestead in NH, we have Team Irish to train at in Bangor who has a great group of guys, plus you have me, pfft, can't get much better than that, but you would pay a lot less for a lot more here in Maine than in NH

That's awesome. If you guys find something you like and continue to post details, I can help you negotiate the deals or get some great terms. I don't know Maine real estate or laws but generic negotiating techniques. BTW lol @ $225 for 4 years on a $4K note. That would be a 61.33% interest rate. Obviously he would be asking MUCH more on seller financing. Based on Michigan's cap on land contracts of 11% that would be $13,700 with $5K down.

Anyway, that last one looks awesome for an off the grid type of life! No power to the house currently, but no septic or more importantly a well. my family has a place like this on 35 acres up in East Tawas. No water, no sewer, there was a well but it hasn't worked in my 37 years of life that I know of. Oooooold farm house with out buildings. I haven't been there in years, and didn't appreciate it until I started getting interested in Homesteading/Prepping.
