site with a guy who built a earthbag home, I'm surprised he kept going when part of the wall caved in. My wife would have said no way. Looking at the pictures it looks like the culprit was because he didn't put in any buttresses. If you are building in a alternative fashion, make sure you follow the recommendations of the people who have already done it

been following your new barn thread and I have to say this earthbag stuff looks too hard. The stacked block method looked way easier, all the way around.

you are very right, I just wanted to do something different this time plus the earthbags are extremely less expensive,I am just trading off labor for money. plus it's one heck of a work out
