I definitely will be harvesting the bulbs and reusing them next year. It's fun to watch them grow up, and the hummingbirds and bumblebees love them. Not sure if we'll move the keyhole garden. We put a ton of work integrating compost and amending the soil. It'll be hard to give that up once it's vibrant and healthy. I want to turn it into veggie garden next year, but we'll see.

I haven't seen one hummingbird this year, would be interesting to see how much that would produce in veg

That looks awesome! I'm guessing it'll take a year or two to break down those sod clumps, but guessing that it'll be great for water retention & easy access to weed & plant.

Sorry I've been lurking and quiet lately. Getting married, death in the family...all have had me tied up for most of the year. Not much time to keep up with homesteading stuff this year. Looking forward to a quiet year of gardening :-)
