So I have been quiet for the last few nights. We put up a pool for the kids, which took a surprising amount of work.

So I brought over some dirt...

Tried to level the ground...

Put down some weed blocker...

And started filling it up.

And finished. The kids have been in it multiple times every day.

Before I can start working on the solar mount I needed to clean out the barn. This thing was so full of junk and scrap wood I could hardly open up either door. So I dragged a huge amount of scrap to the dump and built another loft on the other side of the barn.

I tried to hang stuff as much as I could. I ran out of daylight and I had to start throwing boxes in again. I will have some clean up to do but it is much better. This took me a solid 12 hours worth of work. I can hardly walk and am covered with mosquito bites.

Yes, they are in that thing every day. It is what it is -- a big inflatable pool, but they are loving it. A good substitute until I can dig out a good "swimmin' hole".
