...amazing?...damn frightening...I am going to recheck my numbers for how much I need. so I don't over order too much.  I have spent 4k in materials and haven't driven a nail yet.

Gravel, I normally wouldn't advocate the box store but they're about $0.47/ft for 5/8 ( #5) and $0.29/ft for 1/2 (#4). Might shop around on that.

...I did shop around the area here...he's actually cheaper than the anyone else...maybe we are just higher on that material here?

...the next best price I found was 0.53 on #4 and 0.91 on #5.

Exciting! Yeah, figured there would be differences in pricing based on location. Funny how rebar there is more expensive and concrete in Texas is more expensive. Guess they've gotta get you somewhere.

One thing I found out here that surprised me, big box stores don't have or won't get 20' lengths of rebar.  I think bending the #5 is going to be pretty tough...we have a few ideas, see how it goes.

you have a ball hitch on your truck? We just stick it through the retaining hole and crank on it

I have a 2inch receiver set up...I think the retaining hole is only 1/2, maybe 5/8, will definitely check that out thanks.  Also thinking I could but the carry all or bush hog on and work off the uprights on either one.

The 1/2 rebar is not bad to bend...I have found the 5/8 to be a bear in the past.

I am sure we will come up with some crazy idea.
