I found a 30x40x10 pole barn that is ~1.5 hours away for $3k. I would be responsible for removing it and rebuilding it. Just how hard do you think this would be? On the surface this is much cheaper than new materials would cost but between the effort of breaking it down and rebuilding I think we would be approaching the cost of buying new.
Any thoughts? I believe it is on a gravel base.

The seller didn't list a time frame -- it already sold. I did some searching on the internet and found that moving a pole barn is extremely hard and usually leads to high expenses and a mediocre "new" building. Since building the polebarn punctures the steel (with nails or screws) if you don't build the structure the same way, or something is a little off, you will have holes all throughout your structure.
