I think we should really sit down and talk about this, I would love to do a project with shipping containers, but to be honest, by the time you buy them, set the slab or piers for foundation, hire the crane to set it, then weld, insulate, cut out openings, I can frame you out a 8x40 building cheaper, or build with block, look at my house, it's 24x40, the walls, footings, slab, sb cement etc, all was around 7500 dollars, you couldn't do all that with two shipping containers for the same price, plus it would be 16x40, I do love some of the designs of the shipping containers they have out there though, roscoe and the newsettler were talking about it on our 8 hour cruise today

a couple. I called maine trailer today. basically 4000 per 40 foot trailer. their trailer tilts still need crane or fork lift to final set.

it had some really good plans. Can't decide between container, stick or already done. coming up with couple plans of each. research research research.may just do already existing with land then build at leisure.
