This all started because my little girl felt like she had no room in her bedroom. (Spoiled by family and friends for Christmas) So she approached me and started stating all the things she could throw away to make room, started off by offering the hamster, that was a no. Then she said her bureau, explained to her she needed that for clothes and last she said her bed....That might not be a bad idea.

We took some measurements and went to go get some wood.

We mocked up a frame to see how it would all fit.

Got my arm rails, joists and plywood on tossed the bed up to see if my daughter liked it. She does.

Then I thought hey lets make a mini living room under here! They love it! Thought I would put on some sheet rock slap a bit of mud on and tape.

The finished not quite finished project. I scraped the sheet rock idea my mud went bad and didn't want to spend money on mud.(Had the pine so why spend money) All I have left to accomplish is the 4x4 post, stairs and handles. She loves it! Glad we went with the loft bed gave her a lot of floor space back that she didn't have.

Fun project on to the next one!
