This is going to be a step by step build for my mass heater. By no way is this a how to.. more of a drink and see what is made. lol (well I do have a principal that I am using) Either way.
First I would like to say thanks for the propane tank!
This is going to be the base for my rocket mass heater. For those who are not sure what a mass heater is well here is a short description.
I first want to take the tank apart and see what I find.
I start taking off the top and bottom of the tank. This was quite simple only a few screws and bit of prying.
Once I got the top and bottom off I got this out of the middle of the tank where the propane heat went up. Not sure what this is but I believe its a diffuser for the heat to slow it down. Don't quote me lol. I need to figure out what to use this for...hmm
Next I took a crowbar and a hammer and peeled off the metal on the outside of the tank to expose the innards.
After this became the crappiest part of all... Taking off the insulation, this task was not fun. Was stuck to the tank quite well.
I used a putty knife to clean of the tank as much as possible and finished it off.
Got to this point. Hopefully tomorrow I get the floor mapped out and a design in mind. I will let you know how it goes will be updating as soon as possible. Hope to fire it up soon!

Well here is an update on my stove I've done about nothing..lol well I have drawn up some plans to get and idea on what you all think.
Please add some input this is my first time so I'm open to anything. Going into a 26x28 garage, I believe its a bit of overkill as is.. But I'm know for that. Thanks
