it's not a perfect piece of property, there is some low spots that are wet, but for what we are using it for, it will be fine

well we went out and walked the property one last time, we found a spot that we thought would make a good spot for a totally off the grid cabin, no inside water or sewer. Outhouse and well only. I was shocked when we we were talking about what type of cabin to build when my wife recommended this
a round cordwood cabin with a earth roof, this was our original plan many years ago, it comes full circle

Wow man, that is awesome. Excited for you! I wish we had land around here that was cheap. I hear of 1500-2000 an acre land with-in a few hours away. how close is it your place now?

this project will probably be next year, I need to finish the homestead here first before we tackle another spot, the great thing about this 20 acres is it is on a discontinued road which is now part of the snowmobile/atv trail system. I can leave my house and hit the trails right out back of us and be there in 25 minutes
