i went through this guys old blog posts-he does some awesome work. he did a cool cottage for some hippie chick in the desert. i think it's fascinating how they have different "recipes" using local soil. this cottage was a red terra cotta on the outside with a mural done in white plaster depicting hopi indian style animals.
thought it was interesting he used horse manure as a cob in the finish plaster. the fibers in the digested grass give it strength.
he also built a house for his parents from the ground up. really modern design with some earthy accents.
