Nice city and area...great fishing on the lake...but three Nuke Plants...and they are part of that northern tier that get's blasted with lake effect snow every year...some places well over 250 inches of snow a season...great summer time area though.

Batavia was horrible for snow, right in the middle of Erie and Ontario, we got hammered. It's why I chuckle when people complain about snow up here.

the bad thing up here the last couple years is that we get that in several weeks, last year we didn't even have snow till January and then got crushed in Feb.

I hear ya...the majority of our biggest 'all at once' snow falls happen in March around here...not out of the woods yet.

It was a crap storm here yesterday...we had rising temps in the morning, everything turned to slush, then it rained for a few hours, then temp dropped after lunch and everything was freezing, then it started sleeting and we ended up with snow...crappy commuting!  Supposed to be back to 40 by Saturday!  I plan on getting to the farm and building some more window bucks.
