^Cool, I got someone coming over next week to buy some trunks just for that. Was wondering how they did it. I am about to start treating some cutting boards today, I'll update as soon as I can. These are the older slices I got, they are about 6 mos in. Smaller in diameter but good practice while I wait for the other one to dry.

The bottom piece is especially cool but not adequate for a cutting board. Gonna use it as a center piece but I want it to look nice and shiny, what can I use for that?
