I've always felt like those window walled houses were so sterile and laboratory-like.  This design really makes it more home-like and inviting. The architecture is just so clever.  Openings for doors and windows doing double duty, covered patio at either end, and stone floors as heat sinks. Those are the features that stand out to me.  I'm sure there are tons more.  My daughter would love it because we could set up the telescope on the top floor to watch the stars instead of going to an open field in the dead of winter.

I couldn't live there, because the stress of keeping my glass walled house tidy would be too much.
