Here are projects around our homestead. Some of these are old pics but they work.

I built a pallet pig fence for our feeders theres a automatic feeder ive added and a hey shelter for them thats not in the pic.

The coop was a old walnit storage shed at one time and possibly a smoker before aswell.

The pig waterer is just a 50 gallon drum with a nice lid that used to hold soy sauce i added a couple pig nipples and works great for the pigs to get water.

The trampoline tractor is (one pictured is not mine) a current project im working on for the guinea fowl and Narraganset turkeys that are about to come out of the brooder.

we have a pallet turkey pin not pictured connected to the pig pen and the chicken coop on the right side, its fun to watch them all interact with each other.

I have a whole slew of other projects going on now also. We have a huge old chicken house im working (along with 4 other barns in bad shape) on. im building a smoker and a new grill and possibly a brick pizza oven. its going to be a good summer!

How do the pallets work for you for the pigs? I have debated using them.

They work fine for growing out feeder pigs which is all we do. I imagine a boar would really do some damage to them. for a quick easy and inexpensive fence it works great. and the chickens can fit through the cracks and help take care of the bugs. theres heavy duty T-posts about every third pallet put if I redo this pen ill just screw a pallet in the wrong direction every so often to form a X and it will stabilze the fence much better than a Tpost.

We just use cedar posts with welded fencing and run a board along the bottom with electric, once they respect the electric we then let them out into the field
