I strongly believe promoting the trades would revolutionize our education system and in the end, build a stronger economy and a stronger America.

Imagine if we tapped the teaching potential of all these 60 and 70 year-olds to pass on their knowledge of the trades.  In Eric Hollenbeck's case, it was as healing for him as it was for the kids he was teaching.  My FIL is a broken man.  An abusive upbringing didn't do him any favors.  At 66 he always says "I won't be around much longer" and I keep telling him he HAS to be, because he has grand children who need to learn skills and lessons from him.  I hope it's as fulfilling for him to teach me as it is for me to learn from him.

Watching that made my allergies flare up.
