Paracord is always bragged on for its strength, but I used some to tie down a tarp over stuff on my trailer and the paracord snapped. I was not impressed.

I guess like anything you could have gotten a bad batch, or "knock off" paracord. Or there's always the possibility it was just subject to wear and weathering.

I liked the article, but it started to go a little overboard after a while.
