Theoretically there may be that much,  but with hoarding, etc. there's a day's worth of food at best.  When we had the "snowpocalypse" event here several years ago, I was amazed at how bare the store shelves were leading up to it.  And that was just a snow event.  I cant even imagine if it were something serious.  The hard part is knowing when to start looting.  lol  Go in too early and you get shot/arrested or look like a mental case.  Go too late and the shelves are already bare.
