I'm amazed the land hasn't been re-purposed.  Normally, malls are on PRIME real estate.  I recently heard that Darden restaurants spun off Red Lobster for an insane amount of money, and heard the reason was simply for the real estate.

 

Having said all that, even though I haven't played in years, I would love to see those malls turned into indoor paintball fields.  Would be amazingly fun.

I read a article the other day on how many square feet of retail space there was per person in this country it's pretty staggering, I will look for it
