Flint Doctors urges people not to drink water | Page 9 | Emergency Preparedness | Forums

Honestly, I couldn’t tell you for sure; I am on a well and where I work is on city of Flint water but our facility’s water does not look like that at all. Granted, we have extensive filters. I will say that a few of my co-workers who live downtown have said their water at home does have an orange tinge to it… But a lot of that is from failing infrastructure and old water pipes... According to the gal I site next to, the orange water has been an issue for years in her house and it did not happen when the city switched sources.

There is a problem with Flint’s water, but I get the feeling it’s been going on a lot longer than people are admitting and now it’s become a game of “blame the politician”... Not saying I like the governor, but Flint’s problems go back way further than him or the city management of the last decade.

Yeah, I saw that one too...I doubt it, but I may be wrong.  Either way...those poor people are screwed with health issues and they couldn't give their homes away...who the hell would knowingly move there?

I'm really glad this is getting so much press. I'd like to see the same thing happen here in WV.
