Does everyone know where their gas shut off valves are in their home?

I havent heard anything since last night and at that time they weren't sure yet. They were in the process of the investigation when the explosion occurred. I still cant believe no one died, a few were injured including the utility workers and both the poilice and fire chiefs. Two of the workers got airlifted and are in critical condition.
They evacuated about 300 homes and turned the gas off to the area but were working to get service restored. It was pretty cold last night so hopefully all those people had somewhere warm to go.

I walk by that house on my way to work!
There was a family of 3 squatting in that house but the police got them out(heroes in my book). That house and the one right next to it have been abandoned for about 2 years (former crack house and hangout). It's still a pile of rubble, I don't see the owners paying to clean it up. Probably have to wait until the city confiscates it before it's cleaned up.
