I own this knife and recommend it. Maybe not as your primary blade, or fire starter, or knife sharpener but as a backup. It is always good to have tools that can be used as backup. Should never carry just one of anything whether it's fire starters or a blade so having a tool that can be used for multiple uses is good to have. My biggest grip about this knife is the serrated blade. It is close to the handle and I would prefer it to not be there so I could get a better cutting angle. Still a good lil survival system packed into the knife. Also the sharpener should only be used in emergency's because it is not very good compared to others.
