ugh, we got 30+ inches. my town was in the top 3 for the state in snowfall from this storm.
Luckily between the plow, snowblower and shovels we were able to find our driveway and the walks to our front and back doors. My wife and I also helped dig out the older lady next door. He husband passed long before we moved into this place. The mounds from the town plows were 4' high and 4' all down the streets and in front of driveways. We didnt lose power which was a plus and Im back to work today. The kids got off from school so my wife is home with them today. Im stopping to buy some snowshoes on the way home because the drifts in the yard are so deep its difficult to make it back to the chicken coop.

More power is a good thing. I bought a old Ford Tractor from a guy who lived in an old suburb in Buffalo NY. He had a 50 ft driveway and plowed half his neighbors out all the time...he loved the old tractor.
Nice front blade on it that works off the 3 pt hitch. He fabricated 'wings' for the front blade and you can really place snow where you want it...as long as there isn't too much of it...there are limitations. I will take a few pix this weekend if I get a chance.

Id love a tractor! There's so much I would be able to do with it. I've seen people dig swales with a double bottom plow. I saw a small JD with a bucket, but it was 6500 and we dont really have to money to commit to something like that right now. Theres a guy around the corner and maybe half a mile away that has a tractor he uses to cut his lawn. One day I saw him using it to put a drainage ditch in his property. I still regret not stopping by to meet him and chat for a bit.
