I know a number of people that live in Upstate NY and have talked with a few of them since this came out shortly after Paris...they fall into 2 groups: 1) 'what can we do?' and 2) the few that make sure they have food and some other supplies on hand just in case.
....When 9/11 hit there were a number of supplies that were diverted to NYC area (and rightly so) a number of things were hard to get in other part's of the state. Granted this was not a huge inconvenience, but I don't understand the people that brush off the concept of having some basics on hand...even if it would be for a weather event.
Hoping for the best with all this.
