I am on an IPad and a little stretched from work etc, so I will not do this topic justice with the written word, but I hope pictures drive the point home.
So many lessons to be learned from this little weather event.
So many topics can be extrapolated from this event.
Many sub topics can be discussed. For example just think of this as an event that caught people off guard.
A couple of lessons, keep some basic items in your vehicle and or at work/on you.
Think about alternate routes and back up plans to get home, be prepared to stay put if needed.
I will try to come back and edit and fill in some details and stories.
A little snow and ice turned the roads bad fast ! In am area where the people or the state are not equipped and or used to dealing with snow and ice.
Forecast was for the storm to hit further south, equipment was positioned to the south not where it was needed.
This caught people off guard and turned bad fast.
Not being dramatic a lot of people found themselves on foot, spend in the night in vehicles, sleeping on the floor of retail stores, offices etc.
