Also, on a separate note, they don't seem like much of a residential pest (unless that residence is a run down crack house).

They got into our house, but I do think they came in on cattle that were brought in from Mexico to graze neighboring properties. Once we managed to kill the one or two that decided we were midnight meal potential, we weren't bothered any more.

lol, thanks for calling my house a crackhouse 🙂

  • Beneath porches - have a front porch
  • Between rocky structures - have a rock retaining wall in front of house
  • Under cement - cement patio and house
  • In rock, wood, brush piles, or beneath bark - have cords of firewood
  • In rodent nests or animal burrows - had the rat problem at the barn and in house pad
  • In outdoor dog houses or kennels - nope
  • In chicken coops or houses - have chickens

When I refer to a residential pest, I mean inside your house.  All the areas you describe are outside, and not a problem to people unless you sleep out there.
