The Mora Bushcraft knives are great little blades and only cost about 15-20 bucks. Highly recommend that knife to everyone. It is not a full tang blade so I would not try heavy batoning with it.

Bahco Laplander Folding Saw. This saw works very good and it is very light and easy to pack.

Yes that saw works very good. Maybe a sewing kit and small fishing kit would be good to have in there as well.
