I'll have to read it later. Also, I'll have to see if it's the same guy/blog that was featured in the book Going Galt. I had mentioned in another thread about that blog and some of the lessons learned in a real life SHTF scenario. That's when KVR referred me to the blog about the guy during the War in Bosnia.

I was in New Orleans two days after Katrina. It's hard to describe how bad it was there. It was sad to see Americans act in the way they did compared to the Japanese after the Tsunami. All levels of Gov broke down(police, fire, ems) making it a survival of the fittest. The older people tried to band together but the biggest issues were with the younger people. Some helped but allot became a unlawful mob. It was one thing people looting for food or needed supplies to survive but countless businesses were robbed, burnt to the ground and destroyed for now reason. If people want to see what might happen if thing ever go to hell in a hand-basket research as much as you can on the aftermath of Katrina.
