winds are very strong with this storm. It passed on the East side of Florida and I live on the West side and we have had quite a few down branches from it. So don't take it lightly. If it's scheduled to be in your area, stock up on can goods and gallons of water.

Fill your bathtub full of water before the storm comes. Fill car with gas now and have it ready in case you need to leave the area.

700 miles. Our Governor says he wouldn't be surprised if it bumps up to Cat 2 before it hits land.

Looking like we've done ok. Never lost power. Rain wasn't that bad. Wind was bad at times, but no downed trees or anything like that.

On a side note, we were expecting to lose power, so over the past 3 days, we've been doing nothing but eating stuff that's in our freezer. So our freezer is almost cleaned out now. :)

Glad to hear you're not getting it to bad easy. This thing is going to be pretty rough for a lot of people who aren't ready for it. Stay safe, dry and warm out there!
