they have videos of how to install too. I don't know for sure I'd use them, but that's the general idea.

The mileage is 10-20% worse with propane unless you get rid of your gas fuel system and get new propane injectors. I'm not doing that. The upside is that there is no additives in CNG or LPG so your oil, filters, cat, etc. last dramatically longer. It runs much cleaner. The price depends a lot on how you buy it. I'd like to buy a way to fuel it at home, and get regular deliveries of propane if I went that route. I'll have to talk to my local hank hill to see if such a thing is possible.
Have you plumbed your gas line into your geny? How did that go?
No, we just use 20 pound tanks when needed, we have one for our grill and my dad has two for his cabin because we have the propane heater in there, it uses very little propane, with that being said, if we had a long term grid down situation like the ice storm in 98, I have a adapter kit for our 100 gallon pig that we have hooked to the house so we can tap into that, plus we have 300 gallons at the restaurant if needed
cc, was looking over that site and it says this
For experienced trained installers only, or anyone who completes programming training from CNG Training LLC. This is not a DIY first time conversion kit unless training is completed
is this something you are going to try yourself?

I'd probably take it to a garage, but I might try it myself. you gotta remember that people do this conversion all over the developing world without the benefit of training certificates from the manufacturer. Its not like CNG or propane is a whole lot more dangerous than gasoline in terms of fire and explosion risks. It would definitely be a huge challenge for my skill level though.

I'm sure they'd be willing to sell me one, and if not, they aren't the only manufacturer, just the one with videos. There are plenty of jeep guys that do a propane conversion themselves on cherokeeforum. The only difference between LPG and CNG is the tank and the regulator.
there are conversion kits for carbs too. I don't know if your geny kit would have enough air flow capacity for a vehicle sized engine.
