it drives me nuts when my daughter geotags herself when she posts on facebook

I have my location services turned off, but sometimes I wish I didn't.  I would love to be able to look back to see where I took pics.

I don't upload pics to facebook but is there a way to disable it on facebook but still have it enabled on your phone? Upload to flickr, make them private and you can still see the locations.

I'm a tech noob, but I don't think so.  If it's enabled on your phone, then it embeds info into the pic that anyone can pull out.  Anytime that pic makes it into the wild, then the info would be available.  So as a rule, I just have it turned off.  There are probably other ways that I leave a huge digital footprint that I'm unaware of, but I do what I can.
