drill baby, drill!

The U.S. Geological Survey says it recorded seven small earthquakes in central Oklahoma in 14 hours over Saturday and Sunday.

According to an Associated Press story, the quakes ranged in magnitude from 2.6 to 2.9 on the Richter Scale.

Earlier on Saturday, four quakes were recorded in the same area of central Oklahoma. One of those quakes registered 4.3 on the Richter Scale.

No injuries or damage were reported.

Some residents in the area say they believe that drilling for oil may be the reason for an increase in seismic activity in the region.

According to the AP story, Austin Holland, a research seismologist with the Oklahoma Geological Survey, said the state is experiencing unprecedented earthquake activity and scientists are trying to determine whether the earthquakes are a natural phenomenon or are man-made.

Anyone who has watched battle stat galactica knows what the word frack really means.

I just learned that 200 sites have been approved in my county. So I'm joining the Wv surface owners rights organization.

I don't know what the frack I'm going to do if the drill near me.

"the state is experiencing unprecedented earthquake activity and scientists are trying to determine whether the earthquakes are a natural phenomenon or are man-made. "

Like we need someone to tell us that fracking is bad for the fracking environment.

I do. They are the old style of shallow well. Although they suck, it is nothing like the fracking wells.

They are absolutely horrifying.

I've just joined the surface owner rights organization in WV. We will see how it plays out.

I don't really have much hope around here. WV has been a company town since the dawn of mining. The powers are so good at waving the "we're creating jobs" flag and people believe it.
