well this might be interesting

What is The Prepper Movie?

The Prepper Movie is a Grid-down feature film!

The film is as an explosive narrative following a catastrophic collapse. The movie follows groups of preppers after an event who must use every resource at their disposal to survive in a post collapse society.

In this movie you will find yourself following people from varying walks of life as they adapt their lives to a new and lawless environment.

What do people do when they can't call the police for help?

What do they do when their neighbors demand their food?

When their friends become their enemies?

to be honest, I almost wish they would stfu about this prepper thing. I felt the same way about UFC becoming mainstream.

We will lose our edge and possibly become more vulnerable with more people knowing what to look for.

Its all about the mindset. Several of the shows and movies depict preppers and homesteaders as lunatics. Very few have ever actually told the truth.

People around here found out that I prep after April's Fury (complete secret for many years). I was the only one on our road with a generator, able to repair the damage at my residence and not have to leave to get "stuff". Even after folks had to stand in lines for hours to get what ever they were giving, depending on the "kindness" of others to take care of them, they have not changed their ways. Someone took care of them before so someone will take of them later. Given time they will forget that you prep as well, just keep quite on what you are doing.

I found out lots of things from our natural disaster, things that I used to fill the voids in my preps. Things that were never discovered in exercises or brainstorming. So you can use some of these movies to look for little nuggets of gold to fill in gaps in your preps.

I agree with priceless, if this is done the way they are saying and is able to change some perceptions that have been established by the prepper shows on TV, I think that is a good thing
